Made door decorations for the Washington Care Center residents. Delivered them and put them on doors. Also visited briefly with available residents. (Fall)Collected food items for two families in need, one in Brighton, IA, and one in Washington, IA. Delivered them to their homes. (Nov.)
Sponsored and coordinated a school-wide food drive. Collected the most food ever by the student body. Donated food items to local HACAP for distribution to the needy at the holiday season.
Took fruit items to residents at the McCreedy Home (annex to the Washington County Hospital) and visited with the recipients. They liked seeing faces "without wrinkles" according to one resident. (Feb.)
