Display cases in the upper lobby of Washington High School were designed in honor of the homecoming candidates, and for the student body to show the festivities from past years. The BPA members also decorated local business windows to show school spirit.
In November Nabrina Garrett was in charge of setting up a group to help some elementary students. The group went to local schools, socialized with the students, and set up activities for them to do.

For Thanksgiving, our chapter held a school-wide food drive for the needy. Two families recieved the donated food that was collected. The study hall that brought in the most food won free pop from our BPA chapter. The amount of food that was brought in filled the display case in the front lobby of the high school.

For Christmas the chapter made fruit baskets and delivered them to the McCreedy Home, Washington Care Center, Halcyon House, and the UP Home.

Individuals were encouraged to do caring and sharing time with senior citizens, handicapped, and those hospitalized.
