Washington Junior High School is a 7-8-9 grade environment, with 439 students, 58 staff / support staff members. It is also one of the few schools in the state with an atrium. It offers traditional courses along with exploratory courses for all three grade levels. Four-block schedule commencing with the 1997-1998 school year.
